The Seaboard Airline Railroad Station in Avon Park was built in 1926 for the Seaboard Airline Railroad.   It closed in 1976.  It is located at 3 North Museum Avenue in Avon Park.  It was primarily a freight terminal including consumer goods shipped to Avon Park and citrus exported from the town. It also carried passengers. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Avon Park Historic District.  It was listed on 3/2/1990.  The Seaboard Coastline Railroad deeded the depot to the city of Avon Park in in 1979.

     The building was leased to the Historical Society of Avon Park.  The Depot Museum was created and dedicated in 1981.  A railroad dining car was acquired in 1986.

   

     The first station in Fort Pierce, Florida was a Florida  East Coast Railroad Station.  It was torn down in 1967.

     The Florida East Coast railroad tracks reached Melbourne on 6/1893.  The first train reached the town on 7/3/1893.  A station was built for Melbourne.  After years of service, it was decommissioned.  Over the years, it was used by many businesses.  The station was demolished in 1968.  The only memorial of the station was a wall mural from2014.

    The official name of this station is City of Sebring Fire Department Central Station.  It was built in 1927.  The architect was William Helm. It is a story brick building with a distinctive tower.  The style.of the building is art deco.

     The building was remodeled in 2004–2010 due to hurricane damage.  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 8/14/1989.

 Sebring, Florida was a town that was served by both the Atlantic Coast Line and the Seaboard Air Line Railroads.  The Atlantic Coast Line came to Sebring in June, 2012.  Its first station was wooden.  It was replaced in 1917 by a large combined freight and passenger station. This building was brick covered by stucco.  After the merger of the SAL and the ACL in 1967, this station became redundant.  It was demolished in 2000.

     The only surviving train station in Sebring is old Seaboard Airline Railroad terminal.  This is located at 601 East Center Avenue.  This was built in 1924 by the Seaboard Airline Railroad.  The building style is Mediterranean Revival.  The walls are stuccoed.  There is red barrel roof tile. There are round arch doorways and windows. There is decorative terra cotta.

     There was an $800,000 rehabilitation project.  The station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 3/16/1990.

     This historic station is located in Lake Placid, Florida at 12 East Park  Street.  The station opened in 1926. It served as an active passenger terminal until the mid 1950’s.

     The Old Lake Placid Railroad Station is located at 12 East.Park Street.  It was built by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1926.  Its style is Masonry Vernacular.  It served as a passenger station until 1950’s.  It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on January 4, 1993.  It currently serves as the Historical Society Depot Museum

    This Seaboard Airline Railroad Station is located at 36 East Station Street, Apopka, Florida. It was built in 1918 to serve a line that was used by the Tavares, Orlando and Gulf Railroad since 1885

     Latest status is derelict and condemned

     The freight terminal building was constructed in 1930.  Construction costs were $65,000.  Originally, it had 7000 square feet of space. It also had platforms and ramps. The last business at this site was called Gully’s, a discount operation. Currently  it is abandoned.  It has obviously undergone multiple modifications.

   Less than a block away stood the Seaboard Airline Railroad Passenger station.  It was located on East Riverside Drive.  Construction costs were $75,000. The building was 200 feet long.  The train shed measured 500 feet. The architects were Wiley and Clark of West Palm Beach.  The building was recently demolished.

    The existing station is located at 601 Center Ave, Sebring, Florida.  It was built by the Seaboard Airline Railroad. This station opened in 1924.
