This historic station is located in Lake Placid, Florida at 12 East Park  Street.  The station opened in 1926. It served as an active passenger terminal until the mid 1950’s.

     The Old Lake Placid Railroad Station is located at 12 East.Park Street.  It was built by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1926.  Its style is Masonry Vernacular.  It served as a passenger station until 1950’s.  It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on January 4, 1993.  It currently serves as the Historical Society Depot Museum

    This Seaboard Airline Railroad Station is located at 36 East Station Street, Apopka, Florida. It was built in 1918 to serve a line that was used by the Tavares, Orlando and Gulf Railroad since 1885

     Latest status is derelict and condemned

     The freight terminal building was constructed in 1930.  Construction costs were $65,000.  Originally, it had 7000 square feet of space. It also had platforms and ramps. The last business at this site was called Gully’s, a discount operation. Currently  it is abandoned.  It has obviously undergone multiple modifications.

   Less than a block away stood the Seaboard Airline Railroad Passenger station.  It was located on East Riverside Drive.  Construction costs were $75,000. The building was 200 feet long.  The train shed measured 500 feet. The architects were Wiley and Clark of West Palm Beach.  The building was recently demolished.

    The existing station is located at 601 Center Ave, Sebring, Florida.  It was built by the Seaboard Airline Railroad. This station opened in 1924.  

     The original station in Sebring was  an Atlantic Coastal Line Station.  It was made of wood. In 1917, it was replaced by a combined passenger freight station. It was brick covered with stucco. After the merging of SAL and ACL, this was demolished in 2000.

    The existing station is  a Mediterranean Revival Style.  The walls are stuccoed.  There is a red barrel tiled roof. There are arched doorways and windows.  There is a stepped parapet. There is decorative terra cotta.

     In 1998, the station was renovated at a cost of $800,000.

      One of the branches of this line was service between LaBelle and Fort Myers in Florida.  There was a station in LaBelle at Main Street and Seminole Avenue.  This was relocated many times and has been used as a retail establishment.  The railroad track has been removed.

     The station was built by the Rio Grande.and Denver Railroad. It was located at 413 7th Street, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It is located close to the southern bank of the Colorado River. It opened June 18, 1904.  It replaced a smaller station in a different location.

     The building style is Romanesque Revival.  The walls were brick and frying pan river red sandstone.  In the front, there are two medieval towers.  There are two separate waiting rooms one for.women and children and one for me.

      The Glenwood Springs Railroad Rail Road Museum now occupies the area that was the women’s waiting room.  The station also serves as a stop for the Greyhound Bus.

 Beginning in 6/7/1977, Amtrak began service on the Pioneer Line between Chicago and Seattle. Glenwood Springs, Colorado was a stop on this line

     Beginning in October, 1979, Amtrak initiated the Desert Wind  line from Chicago to Los Angeles.   This train stopped at the Glenwood Springs Station.

     Both of these lines were discontinued in May, 1997.  Currently, the California Zephyr is the only train using this station

     The station is currently owned by the Union Pacific Line

     The Auckland Ferry Terminal is the hub of the Auckland Ferry Network connecting Auckland City with Suburbs in North Shore, West Auckland, south Auckland, islands in the Waitermata Harbor and Hauraki Gulf.
