This station was constructed by the Seaboard Airline Railroad.  It is located at 214 Northwest 9th Terrace Homestead, Florida.  It was constructed in 1927.  It is similar to the station in Delray Beach. The exterior is stucco; however in Homestead, there are Corinthian arches.  The style is Mediterranean Revival.   The building was both a passenger depot and a freight depot.  The architect was Gustav Adams Maas of the Harvey and Clark Architectural Firm.  It provided passenger service only for a short time.

     The station closed in 1967.  It has been vacant for years.

    This is a historic building located at 1525 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach Florida.  It was built in 1927.  The architect was Gustav Mass.  He was a member of the architectural firm of Harvey and Clark of West Palm Beach.

  The station has a similar.appearance to the Seaboard Airline Railway Station in Homestead, Florida.  However, the Delray Beach Station used plain stucco.  The building style is Mediterranean Revival.  The northern end of the building was a freight room. It was modified and enlarged.  The building was used for passengers and freight.

     Amtrak continued passenger service to Delray Beach in 1971.  Tri Rail commuter service began in 1989.  In 1991, it was moved to a new Delray Beach Station a few blocks to the south.  Passenger service to the old station ended completely in 1995.

     In February 25, 2020, the Delray Beach Station was largely destroyed by an arson fire

     This restaurant was founded 18 years ago.  Jeff Gately and Chefs Todd Johnson and Ralph Centalonza founded it.   Their other restaurants included Bistro 41, Fort Myers (closed 2019), Aqua Grill, Naples and Mia in Tampa.  The Cape Coral establishment features waterfront views, fresh seafood and steaks.

     Recently, it was announced that their lease renewal was denied.  Information about their future plans and what will occupy their space is very sketchy.

   The first bridge at this location was built by the Atchinson, Topeka, Santa Fe. It was built in 1887. One source described the bridge as draw span with one section raised and lowered.  Another source described the bridge as a swing bridge.  Over the years the bridge could not handle the volume at the his crossing.

     The first bridge was dismantled and replaced with a new bridge in 1932.  During the replacement, the old bridge was used until the new bridge was completed.

     The current bridge is a polygonal Warren through truss. Total bridge length is 1,700 feet.  The largest span is 400 feet.  This is a rail only bridge

     This monument was dedicated in April, 1925.  It was originally erected to perpetuate the memory of brave men who gave their lives fighting for King and Country in World War 1  Later, the monument was extended to soldiers who died in later conflicts.

     This is a fluted granite  column on plinth surmounted by an orb.  The column is surrounded by a rose garden.

Monument was constructed by Odling and Sons.

     This house was known as the F.H. Armstrong House.  It is located in the lakefront community of Ogden Dunes. It was originally completed in 1939.  It is located on a sloping wooded lot in Portage, Indiana.  It is 3700 square feet.  There are four bedrooms and four full bathrooms.  There is a main living area and a family room.

     Architect John Howe was hired in the 1960’s to redesign portions of the interior and to expand the structure.
