Historic Harbert School House

This historic school is located at 13689 Prairie St.,Harbert, MI. This building was erected in  1926. It was constructed on land owned by Edmund Glavin. It served as the primary School. It also served as a house of worship. In the early 1950s, it was closed during consolidation of the school district. Style is classic vernacular one room school house. It was wooden balloon frame structure.     The school building is now home to Judith Yacht Gallery.  It specializes in contemporary and folk srt, mid century modern furniture and unique objects of interest.
