The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Station in Arcadia was opened in 1911. It served passengers until April, 1971.  The rails leading to and exiting from the station were removed in 1980.

In the 1980’s, the station was renovated at a cost of $250,000 by developer Lee Stevenson. It currently  has many retail spaces, lawyer offices, and insurance agencies.  At one time, there was a small history museum.
