Huntsville Canada Swing Bridge

      This bridge carries Main Street over the Musako River.  It was built in 1938. It was built by the Hamilton Bridge Company of Hamilton, Canada.  The bridge type is metal rivet connected polygonal Warren Pony truss, movable swing center bearing center pier and approach span: concrete rigid frame fixed.  The swing feature of the bridge no longer is operational.

     The main span length is 175 feet. The structure length is 240 feet.  There is one main span and one approach span.

   The bridge is featured in many scenes in the movie A Veterans Christmas.

     There wa apparently a prior bridge at this site.

North Bay Ontario  Canadian National Railway Station

    This station is located at 198 Second Avenue West. It was built in 1915.  The station was designed by George Briggs. The building has key stoned rounded head arches over the window and doors. The western.facade has a triangular pediment with the CNO logo.There is an adjacent large portico. There were  separate entrances for men and women waiting rooms.

Seaboard Airline Railroad Passenger Station, East Riverside Dr, Fort Myers

  This station is currently almost totally demolished.  After it ceased being used a passenger terminal, it was used by O’Reilly Brothers building supply company.  For the last several years, it sat abandoned.

Seaboard Airline Railroad Lake Wales, Florida

      This freight depot was built in 1916. It was a one story building located at the Intersection of Scenic Highway and Kissimmee Avenue. It serviced the east west Seaboard Airline Railroad Track.

Former Seaboard Airline Railroad Freight Depot; Now Lake Wales Model Railroad Club

     The building was donated to the city of Lake Wales.  It was relocated to the city equipment yard on Sessoms Avenue.  It was used for storage.  It was scheduled for demolition.  It was relocated in 1993 to the Historic Corridor.   It was renovated.  It currently is used by the Lake Wales Model Railroad Club.
