The Rio (often.called.The Rio on the Beach was a land mark restaurant and hotel built on the sand dunes of New Buffalo, Michigan, around 1930. Local.lore suggests parts of the structure originated from.the 1893 Chicago.World’s Fair.before being moved to the New Buffalo Shoreline.
