This is the oldest lighthouse in the state of Indiana. It is located in the Washington Park in Michigan City. It was built bin 1858. Construction costs were $8000. Exterior is Milwaukee cream city bricks. There is a short wooden tower built directly on top of the 1.5 story keepers house.
