     This building located at 539 South Orange, Sarasota, Florida.  It was built in 1926 by Owen Burns.  The architect was Dwight Baum.  Construction was hollow tile, concrete and steel.  Exterior was tinted stucco.  The design and layout were innovative for its time.  This was the first home of the Sarasota Herald paper.  When first built the building was one level.  Over the following years the structure was converted to multiple levels
