This is a well known restaurant building and landmark in Lincoln Park. It was completed in 1908. The architect was Dwight Perkins. The architectural style is prairie. It is well known for its green roof, red brick and its second ballroom. It was financed by the Brauer restaurant family in Chicago. It closed in the 1940’s. In the 1947, the second floor was opened to the public for ballroom dancing, square dancing, and square dancing.
In the 1950’s, the building was used for dancing.
