Seattle Great Wheel
     The Seattle Great Wheel is a 53 meter tall ferris wheel at Pier 57 on Elliot Bay Seattle.  There are 42 climate controlled gondolas each with a capacity of 8 passengers. The ride is 12 minutes and 3 revolutions.

  •      Construction on the project began on April 17, 2012.  It opened on June 29, 2012.  The cost of the project was $20 million.   The wheel is owned by Great Western Pacific.  Structural engineers were Chance Rides.  Contractor was Manson Construction.
