The Venice Fishing Pier is a 720 foot 24/7 pier located at 1600 Harbor Drive in Venice, Florida in Brohard Park. It is located near Sharky’s Restaurant.
The pier was originally built in 1966. It was destroyed in 1981. It was rebuilt in 1984. In 2004 it was totally removed. It was replaced by a new 1.7 million dollar pier. Its decking is now plastic wood composite. This is thought to be long lasting.
