Seattle Great Wheel
     The Seattle Great Wheel is a 53 meter tall ferris wheel at Pier 57 on Elliot Bay Seattle.  There are 42 climate controlled gondolas each with a capacity of 8 passengers. The ride is 12 minutes and 3 revolutions.

  •      Construction on the project began on April 17, 2012.  It opened on June 29, 2012.  The cost of the project was $20 million.   The wheel is owned by Great Western Pacific.  Structural engineers were Chance Rides.  Contractor was Manson Construction.

Cobb Building Seattle

Cobb.Building
     This is an 11 story Seattle Building.  Construction took place 1909–1910.  Architect was Howells and Stoke.  Style is Beaux Arts.  Sculpted native American ornaments on the 9th and 10th floor cornices are attributed to Victor Schneider.  The building was recently renovated into apartments.
    It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on 8/3/1986.
