This house was built in 1908. It has 3 bedrooms and one and I nd 1/2 baths.   It has 166 square feet of living space. It sits on a 1.2 acre lot. Most of the house was built with heart of pine.  It was built a by Claude Curry and his wife Mabel.  

     Claude was born in Bradenton,Manatee County, Florida.  His family relocated to the Nokomis area when he was 3. His wife Mabel Alice Wilson Curry was born in Florida.  Claude and Mabel were married in Nokomis in 1908.   They had 10 children
The Curry family was part of the earlier settlers in the Nokomis region.  Claude T. Curry was involved with the early post office in Nokomis. He ran the post office in his home.    Construction material was predominantly pine.
