The Bay Haven School style is Mediterranean Revival.  It was designed by architect M.L. Eliot.  The building had an irregular rectangular plan.  It was constructed of masonry.and hollow tile. The building was set.on.a foundation of concrete.

    It opened in 1926. Construction costs were $77,000.. It was built for 600 students.  Tje first principal was Mrs.Mason H..Rose.
