These are located at 1221–1227 North Palm Avenue Sarasota Ave.  They were built beginning in 1924.  The architects were Francis Jones (Tampa) and Alex Browningn(Sarasota). The builders were also Francis James and Alex Browning. The owner was Carleton Olin Teate,  Junior. The building style.was Mediterranean Revival. Construction costs were $145,000.

     A typical.unit consisted of a combination entrance hall and dining nook, living room with adjoining dressing room, bed room, combined sun porch and guest roon, bathroom with bath and shower. Initially, the units were furnished rental.  In 1952, the apartments were converted to coops. They were first in Florida.  More.recently.The building.converted.to.comdos.
