     The current Holly Union Depot was built in 1885-1886 to replace a wooden structure built in 1865 which burned in 1884.  It is located at 223 Broad Street, Holly, Michigan. It was built by the Detroit, , Grand Haven and Milwaukee Rd as a depot for this line and for the Flint and Pete Marquette Railroad. The Contractor was Neitsch and sons for $6500.

     The new depot is a long single story red yellowish brick building. It is 82 feet 10 inches long and 22 feet four inches wide. The style was Late Victorian. The interior was paneled with Norway Pine.  There are 2 waiting rooms one for women and one for men, there is a baggage room. Each of the railroad lines had its own ticket booth
