Historic House at Venezia Park 500 Nassau Street, Venice, Florida

This is not the first time that I have written a blog about this.residence.  However recently, I have discovered new information.

Previously,I have had a source that stated that this house at 500 Nassau Street.was owned by Prentis French. Mr. French was a landscaper for the city of Venice contracted by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He did however for a time live in a house at 429 Nassau St

The House at 500 Nasau St. was built in 1928 by a Tampa Builder Graham Walker.  There is a fountain in the front yard with a sculpture. Some believed that artist that designed this was the Uncle of Prentis, Daniel French.  However this turns out not to be true either
