     This historic building was constructed  in 1927.  Architect was Guy Johnson.  It was built by Carey and Walters of Plant City, Florida.  The building style was Mediterranean Revival.  It is 2 stories.  It was built with hollow clay block and red tile roof. Lately, the building has stood empty.
     The current owners are Martha and David Hanneman They have decided to move forward with a renovation project. The Historic and Architectural Preservation Board issued a certificate of architectural compliance for proposed.renovations in January, 2023.  But an application for site and development plan.wasn’t submitted until January, 2024.

     The proposed plan calls for a three story, 35 foot tall building. There are to be 3 retail.spaces on the first floor. On the second floor, there are to be 4 apartments and office space on the second floor. The second floor is planned to have an arcade over the sidewalk.  The third floor is proposed to be a restaurant and bar.
