This was the first commercial building constructed in Venice. It was built in August, 1926. The architect was R.J. Stehn. The building was made of hollow clay tile and brick reinforced with steel beams. It was two stories.
There were 2 retail stories on the first floor and multiple tenants on the second floor. Some of the prior tenants were Dawson Furniture Company and Venice Hardware
