The building located at 687 Central Avenue, Saint Petersburg, Florida was constructed in 1924 as the Alexander National Bank in 1924. It was designed by Neil Riad. The building style was Beaux Arts. At the time of its construction, it was one of the largest banks in Saint Petersburg

Floridian Social Club
The bank closed in 1926. For a part of 1927, it was occupied by Gregory Electric Refrigation Company. Fidelity Bank and Trust purchased the bank building in 1928.
Fidelity operated at this site until 1931. It closed because bank insolvency during the depression.
Following the bank closure, a series of multiple tenant occupied the building
In 1949, the building was remodeled by Archie Parrish. It operated as the State Theater for many years. In 2016, the building was closed for multiple fire code violations.
It was sold to Kevin Shadwick. He undertook an extensive renovation which was completed in 2020. The name was changed to Floridian Social Club. It now hosts concerts and special events.
