The Bell Tower in Port Townsend is located on the corner of Jefferson and Tyler in Port Townsend, Washington. It is a 75 foot wooden tower built in 1890. It was building for a 1500 pound bell and the community’s new fire engine. The bell was rung to rally the community to a fire and also for fog soundings.
