Nolan Green Milan Terra Cotta Marker

Venice Florida has four pocket parks:  Milan Nolen Greens, Granada Nolen Greens, Harbor Nolen Greens and Madrid Nolen Greens.  These parks are hidden away on small plots of land between and behind buildings.  Each park is distinctive.

Lockwood Viaduct

Lockwood Viaduct

     The Lockwood Viaduct is a stone built railway.  It straddles the River Holme, the B6108 and the A616.  It is located in the village of Lockwood near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.  It was built between 1846 and 1848 by the Huddersfield and Sheffield Junction Railway. It opened in 1850.  The design was by John Hankshaw. It was built Miller Blackie and Shortridge.      The viaduct consists of 32 stone arches.  It was built at a cost of 3,000 pounds. It was built for two tracks, but only one is used.

     This is a complex one and two story Mediterranean Revival Style House.  It was built in 1926.

     The original owners were Mr. and Mrs Mundy.  Mr. was a bridge Engineer; Mrs. was a concert vilonist.

     It is a stuccoed structure.  There are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
