Broadway Bridge

  •      The current bridge was constructed between 1957 and 1962.  It is a double deck lift bridge. In carries Broadway on the lower level and three New York City subway tracks on the upper level. It crosses the Harlem River Ship Canal in Manhattan.
  •      The bridge measured 558 feet.   The lift span is 304 feet.

Verrazona Narrows Bridge

     This bridge is a suspension type.  It connects Staten Island and Brooklyn.  It spans the narrows.  This is a body of water linking New York Harbor  with the lower New York Bay.  The bridge.opened on 11/21/1964.

  The total length of.the bridge is 13,700 feet. It has two levels.  It was designed by primary Othman Amman and Leopold Just. 

Lyceum Theater New York

Lyceum Theater

     The Lyceum Theater is located at 149 N. 45th Street.  It opened.in 1903.  It is one of the oldest surviving Broadway venues. It was designed by Herts and Tallant.  Its style is Beaux Arts.  It was built for impressario Daniel Froham.

     It has 933 seats.It was operated by the Schubert Organization.

     The current Lyceum replaced the earlier building which closed in.1902

     Currently (May, 2025 ) the play running is Oh Mary.

Hudson Athens Lighthouse

Hudson Athens Lighthouse

     The Hudson Athens lighthouse is also known as the Hudson City Light.  It is located in the Hudson River.  It marks a sand ridge

     It was built in 1874.  It is 46 feet in height..  The shape is square.  The exterior is dressed stone with red brick.  Its style is second empire.  There is a mansard roof.  It is built on a granite caisson.

     This lighthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings on May 29, 1979
