Antonio and Rosa Fiorelli migrated from Sicily to the United States in the 1970’s.  They cultivated their land  in Florida with fruit bearing trees and grape vines. These were for their personal use. By the mid 1990’s, they  had most of their 10 acres filled with grape vines.

     In 1998, the Fiorelli’s announced the opening of their winery.

      Erik and Tara Hall took over the winery in 2016.  The winery was purchased by John and Kristin Hokanson in April,2021

     Formerly Barkers Shoes. Built in 1900.  Building is Commercial Vernacular.

     Dawes Park is  15.9 acre area in Evanston, IL  It is located along the seashore of Lake Michigan. It features paths for pedestrians, benches, and public restrooms.  There is a man made lagoon (Arrington Lagoon) with fountains.

Built in 1873. 2 story building. Currently occupied by Sherwood Forest Meat Market.Architecturalnstyle is Streamline Moderne

     The Civil War Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin is located at 5400 1st Avenue. Its campus is along the Lake Michigan lakefront.

     The 57,00 square foot museum opened in 2008. It focuses on the role of the upper middle west states of Wisconsin, Illinois,Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota in the Civil War.

     It features  360 degree movie in the center of the museum.
