Bijou Garden Cafe

     The Bijou Garden Cafe is located at 1287 First Street, Sarasota in the art and theater district.  It has been at this location since 1986.  It is situated in a restored 1920’s era gas station.  The restaurant has seating for 134.

I.R Burns  and H.H. Bell Building

     The I.R. Burns and H.H. Bell Building is located at 1296 First Street Sarasota, Florida.   It is a vine covered Spanish Colonial Revival Building.  It was built in 1925 during the Florida Land Boom.  It was built by Leadly Ogden.

     It was an anchor of the area called realtor row.  The building housed many businesses over the years.  Some of these were antique shops, commercial offices, city operations and high end restaurants in the theater district.
