J.B. Turner Residence
     The J.B.Turner Residence is located at 1225 Fruitville Road Sarasota, Florida. It was built in 1912 by a mason George Barker .   Originally Barker planned to occupy the house with his family.  The style is Colonial Revival.  It is constructed of rustic aged stone blocks

     In 1913, Barker sold the home to J.B. Turner, a merchant. The home remained with the Turner family after J.B. death.

Entrance Venice Nokomis Art Festival

     The 31st Annual Venice Nokomis Rotary Fine Arts and Craft Festival was held at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds on Saturday January 14th and Sunday January 15th.

     There were 85 artists participating. Wine and beer were served.  Multiple food trucks were present.  There was live music.   There was an exhibit of classic cars.
