Warren Hickox House

The Warren Hickox House is located at 687 S. Harrison Avenue Kankakee, Illinois. It was built for Warren Hickox. He operated a real estate and loan business. The architect was Frank Lloyd Wright.

The house !was adapted from two articles in Ladies Home Journal. Interior A Home in A Prairie Town; Exterior A Small House With Lots of Rooms.

The exterior walls were white plaster decorated with stained wood work. The interior was plaster with sand finish. The floors were oak. The remaining interior wood work was Georgia Pine

There are four bedrooms and a chimney.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 3, 1978
